Position Overview
A leading technology services organization is looking for a skilled and experienced Google Generative AI Architect to join its Cloud & AI practice. This is a senior, client-facing role focused on architecting and delivering enterprise-grade Generative AI solutions within the Google Cloud ecosystem.
The successful candidate will bring deep expertise across Google AI and ML services, MLOps governance, and end-to-end solution delivery — from initial architecture design through to production deployment and ongoing optimization. This role requires both strong technical depth and the communication skills to engage with executive stakeholders and translate AI capabilities into measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Delivery
• Design and deliver end-to-end Generative AI and machine learning solutions leveraging Google Cloud platforms, including Vertex AI and Model Garden.
• Review and validate high-level solution designs, assessing them against security, scalability, and cost-efficiency benchmarks.
• Oversee the complete solution lifecycle — from architectural design and build through to deployment, operational handover, and continuous optimization.
MLOps, Security & Governance
• Define, implement, and enforce enterprise MLOps practices, CI/CD pipeline standards, and operational frameworks for AI workloads.
• Establish and maintain security controls and compliance frameworks applicable to AI systems and cloud infrastructure environments.
• Drive performance monitoring, reliability management, and operational stability of live AI solutions.
Cloud Cost & Architecture Optimisation
• Manage cloud consumption and project budgets, ensuring effective and efficient use of Google Cloud resources across engagements.
• Continuously refine and optimize solution architectures to achieve the right balance of performance, scalability, and cost.
Client Engagement & Stakeholder Leadership
• Lead technical discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and solution design reviews with senior client stakeholders and executive leadership.
• Communicate and translate complex AI architectures into clear business value propositions and strategic transformation roadmaps.
• Collaborate closely with client leadership and internal delivery teams to ensure AI initiatives are tightly aligned to organizational goals and business KPIs.
Requirements & Qualifications
Experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in AI/ML architecture, machine learning engineering, or cloud solution architecture.
• Proven track record of delivering enterprise-scale Generative AI or machine learning solutions on Google Cloud platforms.
• Demonstrated experience in client-facing technical leadership and solution advisory roles.
Technical Knowledge
• Advanced expertise in Google Cloud AI and ML services, with particular depth in Vertex AI and Model Garden.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise MLOps frameworks and serverless-first architecture patterns.
• Solid knowledge of cloud security principles, compliance standards, and cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.
• Experience architecting scalable, enterprise-integrated AI solutions across complex organizational environments.
