Chemours is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist , TSS to join our team. This position will be available at our Shanghai, China location. 

  

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • China source material Export execution

    • Arrange shipments for export orders received from CERs/SCs, including export license application , shipping scheduling, space release tracking, material delivery monitoring, good issue in SAP and other coordinating tasks needed

    • Arrange purchase for 3rd party purchase material per guidance from planner, including PR/PO placement, material preparation/delivery tracking, good receive in SAP and other coordinating tasks needed

    • Sample testing arrangement for 3rd party purchase material, including sample instruction to vendor, testing request application to lab and result communication

    • Communicate effectively among CSRs/Vendors/Forwarders/Plant & Warehouse/ Finance with order process progress

    • Export quota documents management as per needs

    • Other coordinating or communication tasks are needed to ensure smooth and success of export order process

  • Site/Toller Planning

    • Develop monthly Master Production Schedule 

    • Develop/execute weekly detailed schedule at disaggregate/SKU level

    • Manage inventory level and inventory health

    • Provide Inventory outlook and investigate on discrepancy

  • Collaborate and problem-solving among various functions

    • Closely cooperate with procurement team with 3rd-party vendor purchase execution

    • Report production issues, supply changes, deviations from plan and potential resolutions to regional supply chain manager

    • Other supply chain tasks as per needs

The following is required for this role: 

  • Bachelor degree

  • 3-5 years' relevant working experience

  • Good knowledge of SAP R/3 & BW

  • Good knowledge of export process – booking, customs clearance, documentary, Letter of Credit, and payment collection

  • Basic knowledge of logistics and hazardous materials handling

  • Supply Chain knowledge

  • Strong communication capability in both English and Mandarin

  • Strong in data analysis

  • Good computer skills, especially with Excel spreadsheet

  • Proactive, a good team player, and willing to learn and take extra responsibility

  • Good time management, organization and coordination skills;

  • Can manage several projects/issues simultaneously

  • Meets deadlines with zero defects.
