Supplier Sustainability Manager

KONE Purchasing Organization ensures competitive, innovative, and sustainable supply for all KONE business lines. The Global Supplier Sustainability team supports KONE and our suppliers in meeting rapidly evolving regulatory and customer expectations for sustainability. The team is part of Purchasing and works closely with KONE Environmental, Ethics & Compliance, and other internal stakeholders.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Represent supplier sustainability in KONE China region and act as a single point of contact for environmental related matters for selected suppliers
• Translate sustainability expectations (regulatory, customer, KONE internal) into clear actions for suppliers together with the Supplier Sustainability team.
• Train and coach suppliers through workshops, e-learning, and hands-on support on sustainability-related requirements.
• Manage and execute environmental data collection from suppliers (e.g., for legal compliance verifications, Product LCA analysis, Scope 3 purchased goods emission reporting)
• Verify supplier environmental data and coordinate corrections
• Report and share insights on supplier sustainability performance with Purchasing and other KONE stakeholders.
• Support supplier related Ethics & Compliance initiatives such as human rights assessments, trainings and hands-on coaching

• Mandatory Skills and Qualifications:

• Relevant academic degree
• Fluent communication and presentation skills in Chinese and English
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment
• Fast learner with the ability to understand KONE’s sustainability requirements and ability to educate internal and external stakeholders
• Positive can-do mindset
• Ability to travel occasionally
