Would you like to join one of the fastest-growing organizations within Amazon Web Services (AWS) and have a direct impact on the Generative AI features, services and capacity expansion projects we are launching next? The AWS Generative AI APJ team is looking for an experienced technical leader to drive the roadmap and capacity for Generative AI Services and Infrastructure across APJ.
As the APJ SA, you will be responsible for leading the roadmap for GenAI services on AWS across our AWS Regions in APJ. This role will work in conjunction with global Service Teams, AWS Infrastructure Teams, Regional Leadership and Specialist teams. Key aspects of capacity and expansion activities include managing capacity for model providers on Amazon Bedrock, the availability of Amazon Bedrock Features (e.g., Guardrails, Knowledge Bases), and testing latency/performance for LLMs on Amazon Bedrock. Additionally, you will be responsible for collecting and consolidating feature requests from APJ customers and partners, and surfacing these to the relevant Service Teams to influence the product roadmap. You will also identify and engage customers for beta and preview programs, working closely with Service Teams to onboard them onto new features, gather early feedback, and drive adoption of emerging capabilities across the region.
We are looking for a seasoned professional with strong strategy and management experience in Generative AI and cloud services. This person will have strong technical skills to understand IT architecture, unparalleled communication skills (can clearly describe strategy and drill into tactics), and the ability to interact with all functions, disciplines, and levels in the organization. This is a highly visible and critical position that will play a big role in the future direction of AWS in the APJ region.
