Role Overview

We are looking for a Product Lead – GIS & Geospatial AI to build and scale our NeIO GIS Coworker product line.

This role is ideal for someone with deep GIS domain expertise who can combine product thinking, solutioning capability, and execution ownership to create a market-leading AI-powered geospatial product.

You will be responsible for end-to-end product ownership — from identifying domain problems and defining product strategy to driving GTM and ensuring successful delivery for enterprise clients.

Key Responsibilities

Product Strategy & Domain Ownership

• Own the vision, roadmap, and strategy for NeIO GIS product line.
• Identify high-value use cases across GIS workflows such as:
• Spatial analytics & querying
• Asset mapping & monitoring
• Network planning & optimization
• Land management, utilities, O&G, infrastructure use cases
• Bring deep understanding of:
• GIS data models (layers, features, spatial queries)
• Platforms like ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, Mapbox, etc.
• Translate domain problems into AI-driven product opportunities.

Product Development & Roadmap Execution

• Define and manage product backlog, feature roadmap, and release plans.
• Work closely with Engineering, AI, and Design teams to:
• Define clear requirements
• Drive execution
• Ensure scalability and usability
• Prioritize features based on:
• Business value
• Customer demand
• Technical feasibility
• Ensure production readiness, UAT validation, and quality of releases.

Go-To-Market (GTM) & Product Commercialization

• Define product positioning, ICP, and value proposition.
• Build GTM assets including:
• Pitch decks
• Demo narratives
• Solution playbooks
• Work with Sales & Marketing teams to:
• Support client discussions
• Drive pipeline and conversions
• Define pricing, packaging, and onboarding strategy.

Client Delivery & Execution Ownership

• Lead implementation and deployment of GIS solutions for enterprise clients.
• Ensure:
• Clear requirement capture
• Alignment between product and client needs
• Smooth execution and delivery
• Oversee UAT, client feedback, and production rollout.
• Act as a bridge between product and delivery teams.

Thought Leadership & Innovation

• Stay updated with trends in:
• GIS & geospatial technologies
• AI in spatial analytics
• Industry-specific GIS applications (O&G, utilities, telecom, etc.)
• Contribute to:
• POVs, whitepapers, and solution frameworks
• Internal product innovation roadmap
• Help position Codvo as a leader in AI-powered GIS solutions.

Key Requirements

Domain & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in GIS / Geospatial domain.
• Strong hands-on understanding of:
• GIS platforms (ESRI, ArcGIS, QGIS, PostGIS, etc.)
• Spatial data models and workflows
• Experience working in industries like:
• Oil & Gas
• Utilities
• Telecom
• Infrastructure / Smart Cities

Product & Delivery Experience

• Proven experience in:
• Product ownership / product management OR
• Solution ownership / delivery leadership
• Experience in:
• Building or scaling domain-led products/solutions
• Managing end-to-end lifecycle (ideation → delivery)
• Ability to convert domain problems into structured product features.

Skills & Attributes

• Excellent communication and storytelling skills.
• Ability to engage with both business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ownership mindset with ability to drive outcomes end-to-end.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / GIS / related field.
• MBA from a Tier-1 institute preferred.
