Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant AI / Data Annotation / Prompt Engineer!
• In this role, you will drive the quality, consistency, and governance of AI and large language model (LLM) outputs. This role leads prompt design strategies, assist in defining annotation and evaluation standards, and provides expert review and guidance across AI initiatives. The position requires deep expertise in language, AI content evaluation, and quality frameworks, with accountability for mentoring teams and improving end-to-end AI content performance.
Responsibilities
• Identify and manage project deliverables.
• Lead the design, optimization, and standardization of annotation process and prompts across multiple AI use cases.
• Collaborate with the AI team to define and govern annotation schemas, taxonomies, and evaluation rubrics.
• Review complex or high-risk AI outputs and provide authoritative quality judgments.
• Ensure consistency, accuracy, and auditability of annotation and evaluation results.
• Define reusable prompt frameworks and best practices aligned with business and compliance objectives.
• Evaluate prompt performance at scale and guide improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Establish quality benchmarks, calibration processes, and escalation protocols.
• Identify bias, hallucinations, and systemic risks in AI outputs and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Support AI governance, compliance, and responsible AI initiatives.
• Participate in calibration sessions to align on annotation standards and evaluation criteria.
• Contribute to calibration sessions and help align annotation quality across the team.
• Work closely with AI team data scientists, content reviewers, and product teams.
• Drive process and delivery improvement by learning new delivery methodologies, AI modelling and approach to data annotation, through continuous learning and personal development.
• Mentor and coach junior and intermediate annotators / prompt engineers.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Mastery over grammar and its more technical aspects like:
o The usage of nouns, verbs, subjects, predicates, etc.
o The ability to identify synonyms.
o Adeptness in comprehending raw inputs.
o Ability to evaluate content critically.

• Strong aptitude for teamwork and an initiative to communicate with teammates.
• Flexibility to switch between working independently and collaborating with a team.
• Ability to quickly adapt when switching between different tasks
• Accountability to adhere to strict levels of confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion and professionalism.
