Description

onsemi is a self-directed, passionate professional with proven experience in events and campaign planning and execution. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the corporate strategy and implementing industry events, trade shows, and campaigns that enable demand creation, customer engagement, provide memorable and value-added event experiences, you will be responsible for driving demand creation with distribution partners by deploying all-encompassing digital marketing campaigns in support of the company’s corporate and channel strategies. This role is focused on digital, campaign, and content marketing via channel partners across the globe. The onsemi Events and Campaigns Specialist will also be responsible to help rollout strategic internal events such as the annual onsemi Leadership Summit, as well as the Analyst Day that will take place every other financial year.

You must be very detail oriented with the ability to drive and collaborate effectively cross functional teams. You should also be an excellent communicator who can lead the development of tradeshow messaging, graphics, and promotional materials.

This role requires meticulous planning, a love for staying organized, ability to multi-task and prioritize with a razor-sharp focus on budget management and logistics.

In this role you will have the opportunity to build relationships with and work with stakeholders across the business including Corporate Marketing, Business Units, Field Sales, Inside Sales, and distribution partner organizations. This position will report to the Manager, Global Channel Marketing within the Corporate Marketing organization.

Responsibilities
  • Deployment of onsemi marketing strategies through the high-service distributors
    • Proliferate the channel marketing strategy and align to the unique strengths and capabilities of each high service distributor
    • Develop and deploy impactful digital campaigns to drive identified objectives
    • Leverage company-wide resources to drive successful execution of campaigns
    • Define KPIs to measure the impact of field programs and regularly report to channel and corporate marketing management
  • Field Enablement
    • Develop programs that enable, motivate, and incentivize distributor field teams to design-in onsemi products and solutions
    • Maintain the accessibility and quality of technical content to support design activities
    • Coordinate regular technical training events and vertical calls with distributor field personnel including topic and presenter selection, content creation, and business impact tracking
    • Act as a liaison between Corporate Marketing and Channel Sales, ensuring both teams are driving toward common objectives
  • Digital Marketing
    • Coordinate with the regional Channel Marketing leaders in America, EMEA, and APAC, as well as the broader corporate marketing team to drive alignment between field-based and digital campaigns
    • Leverage stakeholders to produce messaging, creative, and technical assets to support successful implementation of digital campaigns
    • Collaborate with corporate marketing and distribution partners to build capability in new initiatives such as web personalization, lead nurturing, and marketing automation programs
  • Drive Brand Presence and Integrity
    • Evangelize consistent use and adoption of the onsemi brand voice and tone
    • Maintain and elevate the onsemi brand integrity and core values across external touchpoints
    • Promote onsemi products, and solutions across distribution partner websites and teams

·         Planning and Implementation of Industry Events, Trade Shows, Strategic Events, and Campaign Tactics

  • Help rollout the global event strategy for onsemi with clearly defined priorities, focus events, and event execution methodology. This will take place in partnership with the Regional Marketing teams in EMEA and APAC.
  • Plan and implement Americas events in partnership with the Campaigns, Regional Marketing, Business Unit, Applications, Sales, and Distribution/Channel partner teams.
  • Support the Americas events/trade shows and strategic events calendar – from planning to execution to reporting success and learning.
  • Ensure that the defined KPIs to measure the impact of events/trade shows are successfully met and make recommendations on how best to optimize our event/trade show presence in a consistent and measurable way.
  • Create and distribute pre-show and post-show communications to internal and external audiences with a clear call to action. Ensure that the communication is aligned with the global campaigns program.
  • Ensure all event/trade show deliverables including show presence theme, messaging, graphics, demos, and collateral are consistent with the onsemi brand and broader marketing/business strategy; fully understand the onsemi value proposition to provide compelling content and communication for different audience groups.
  • Manage all logistics and deliverables for events/trade shows, including booking booth space, meeting rooms, attendee and customer registration, housing, catering, transportation, consolidating, and shipping materials.
  • Work with third-party vendors, agencies, and contractors, for example, event suppliers and booth builders, printers, shipping, and freight companies etc. to ensure timely, cost-effective event roll out.
  • Own and manage budget and expenses and financial reconciliation, including working with the onsemi purchasing team members to get contracts, RFPs, invoices, and other negotiations.
  • Drive lead capture and management in partnership with the campaigns and digital team with a focus on lead qualification, disposition, and follow-up.
  • Support go-to-market product/solution campaign tactics


 



Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or any relevant discipline.
  • Familiarity with high tech or semiconductor industry will be a plus, but not a mandate.
  • 2+ years’ experience relevant experience in Marketing/Sales
  • Willingness to establish strong working relationships and influencing stakeholders across all levels both internally and externally
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to focus under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communicator including written and verbal communication
  • Experienced in collaborating with and presenting to all levels of management, with decisiveness and flexibility.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a willingness to roll-up sleeves and get the job done.
  • Results-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and demonstrated success working with cross-functional stakeholders
  • Proficiency with various e-mail, calendar, and meeting management tools/technology.
  • Knowledge of graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite – Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign will be a bonus.
  • Robust knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio
  • Ability to travel infrequently domestically
