Maintenance Technician
IMMIGeneral Function:
Provide Production support in the areas of equipment/process set-up, Preventative Maintenance, improvements/enhancements troubleshooting, and repair, to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and fixtures to ensure safe, reliable, and predictable operation on regular basis.
- Be responsible for solving equipment problems and reducing machine breakdown, analysis root causes and provide short term and long term solutions.
- Participating in equipment capability and production quality continuous improvement project.
- Be responsible for qualifying new equipment and assist in developing new equipment for new project.
- Support to maintain equipment management system records such as machine qualification, technical information records, PM schedule and checklist, spare parts management and fixture management.
- Be responsible for facility maintenance related work, and other related work from supervisors.
- Support to drive operation excellence.
Basic Qualifications:
EDUCATION
College degree or above, major in mechanical / electric engineering, mechanic design / electric automation.
EXPERIENCE
3 or more years of work experience in a related work environment.
CERTIFICATIONS
Electrical certification.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Physical Effort: Stand and walk constantly. Must be able to lift 25Kg occasionally, 15Kg frequently, and 10Kg constantly.
Working Conditions: Must be able to be mobile for the entire day as required. Can accept work in nightshift
Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Basic electrical and pneumatic system understanding is required, PLC automation is preferred.
- Be familiar with using kinds of hardware tools and have a strong operational ability, fixture making experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience on problem solving/preventive and daily maintenance, TPM experience is preferred.
- Proficient to use Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Powerpoint), be familiar with AutoCAD is preferred.
- Understand basic Lean / Continuous improvement tools and principles.
