The Role & Your Impact

As a Maintenance Master Data Specialist, you will be responsible for creating, verifying, and optimizing equipment-related data in SAP to support accurate maintenance planning and reliable plant operations. Your work ensures data integrity across functions and contributes directly to efficient maintenance execution and long‑term asset performance.

Key responsibilities include:

• SAP Master Data Creation & Maintenance
  Create and maintain equipment records, functional locations, and hierarchical structures in SAP. Ensure equipment naming and coding follow company standards.
• Asset & Technical Document Verification
  Cross-check SAP data with asset registers, contracts, delivery notes, acceptance records, and field equipment. Verify equipment parameters and installation locations using P&IDs, GA drawings, electrical diagrams, and instrument documents.
• Tag Verification & Standardization
  Align equipment and instrument tags across SAP, P&IDs, equipment lists, and on‑site labels. Identify inconsistencies and carry out SAP corrections.
• Preventive Maintenance Plan Setup
  Build and update PM plans and task lists, including maintenance content, intervals, man-hours, and spare part needs. Improve plans based on failure data and maintenance feedback.
• Spare Parts & BOM Support
  Support creation and update of equipment BOMs by linking critical and wear parts to the correct equipment.
• Data Quality & Standard Compliance
  Apply and uphold SAP master data governance rules. Identify data issues and drive corrective and preventive actions.
• Cross-Functional Coordination & Support
  Collaborate with Maintenance, Production, Engineering, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance to maintain consistent data across functions and support new project or modification data preparation.

What You’ll Need to Be Successful

• Education
  Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation & Automation, Mechatronics, or related fields.
• Experience
  ~3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, asset management, or related areas.
• Technical Skills
  • Ability to read P&IDs, layout drawings, electrical schematics, and instrument loop diagrams.
  • Familiarity with common mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation principles.
  • SAP PM experience preferred (master data, functional locations, PM plans, task lists).
• Data & IT Skills
  • Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data quality and standardization.
• Language
  Able to use English as a working language for reading technical documents and basic communication.
