Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, AI / Data Annotation / Prompt Engineer!
In this role, you will support the development, evaluation, and improvement of AI and large language model (LLM) to help drive the required output from model-driven AI applications. This role focuses on performing complex data annotation and content evaluation tasks, designing and refining prompts, contributing to quality standards, evaluation frameworks, and process improvements. The position is suited for professionals with hands-on experience in AI content review, language analysis, or data annotation and prompt engineering.
Responsibilities
• Analyze data sets for correctness, clarity, tone, grammar, and adherence to instructions, bias in AI outputs, and extract key insights to make well-reasoned, data-driven recommendations.
• Perform advanced text annotation tasks following defined schemas and evaluation rubrics.
• Perform data validation and proactively identify issues to ensure data integrity and the delivery of quality and accurate results.
• Collaborate to develop and implement data strategies optimizing search efficiency and data quality.
• Participate in calibration sessions to align on annotation standards and evaluation criteria.
• Contribute to calibration sessions and help align annotation quality across the team.
• Assist in refining annotation guidelines, evaluation criteria, and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in designing, testing, and refining prompts for AI and language models to improve accuracy, relevance, and consistency.
• Execute prompt variations and document outcomes for comparison and optimization.
• Analyze prompt performance and recommend improvements based on output quality and observed patterns.
• Work closely with senior prompt engineers, data scientists, content reviewers, and product teams.
• Mentor junior team members as needed.
• Drive process and delivery improvement by learning new delivery methodologies, AI modelling and approach to data annotation, through continuous learning and personal development
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• Mastery over grammar and its more technical aspects like:
o The usage of nouns, verbs, subjects, predicates, etc.
o The ability to identify synonyms.
o Adeptness in comprehending raw inputs.
o Ability to evaluate content critically.
• Strong aptitude for teamwork and an initiative to communicate with teammates.
• Experience working with annotation tools, evaluation rubrics, content quality frameworks and/or prompt engineering.
• Flexibility to switch between working independently and collaborating with a team.
• Ability to quickly adapt when switching between different tasks
• Accountability to adhere to strict levels of confidentiality and handle sensitive data with discretion and professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
• Degree in Communications, Information Science, or related fields
