Data & AI Solutions Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a Data & AI Solutions Engineer to join a growing technology and business solutions team supporting large-scale operations. This role is ideal for a professional who enjoys working at the intersection of data engineering, analytics, automation, and business transformation.

You will be responsible for designing and delivering scalable data solutions, developing reporting platforms, automating business processes, and helping drive the adoption of AI-enabled capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data models, reporting solutions, and analytics platforms.

• Build and optimize data pipelines to support business intelligence and operational reporting.

• Develop dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking solutions using Microsoft Power BI.

• Create and maintain business applications and workflow automations using Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.

• Support data governance initiatives, ensuring data quality, security, and compliance standards are met.

• Identify opportunities to improve business processes through automation and AI-driven solutions.

• Partner with IT, data teams, and business leaders to deliver data and analytics projects across multiple functional areas.

• Contribute to the evolution of reporting and analytics capabilities toward predictive insights and intelligent decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field.

• 8+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or related disciplines.

• Strong experience with SQL and data transformation processes.

• Proven experience in data modeling, data architecture, and ETL/data pipeline development.

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI.

• Experience developing solutions using Power Apps and/or Power Automate.

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Experience working with automation, AI-enabled solutions, or emerging data technologies is an advantage.

• Strong stakeholder management and business partnering skills.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Data Factory or similar integration platforms.

• Exposure to data governance frameworks and best practices.

• Experience supporting multiple business functions such as operations, engineering, finance, sales, or corporate services.

• Background in energy, infrastructure, industrial, or technology-driven environments is a plus.
