Chief AI Officer (CAIO) — Computer Vision & Edge Intelligence | Copenhagen (Vesterbro / Nearby)
We are a small senior team building a breakthrough project that combines camera and sensor data with visual intelligence for real-world applications.
We’re looking for a hands-on Chief AI Officer (CAIO) who loves building models, optimizing edge performance, and diving deep into data and code.
What You’ll Do
- 🧠 Build and train computer vision models for object detection, segmentation, and change detection.
- ⚙️ Deploy and optimize models for edge devices (Jetson, Coral, etc.) ensuring high accuracy and efficiency.
- 💡 Dig deep into data and code — you’ll design, test, and refine algorithms that power real-world AI systems.
- 🧩 Own the AI architecture end-to-end — from model selection and data strategy to deployment and validation.
- 🤝 Collaborate directly with founders to define the technical vision, influence architecture decisions, and shape our AI roadmap.
- 🌍 Experiment in the field — this is not a desk-only role; we test, iterate, and learn from real-world data.
You’ll Excel If You Have
- Proven experience in Computer Vision / Edge AI / Deep Learning
- Strong proficiency with:
- PyTorch, YOLOv8, Detectron2, OpenCV, TensorRT
- Experience deploying to edge devices like NVIDIA Jetson, Google Coral, Raspberry Pi, etc.
- Experience in model optimization, quantization, and acceleration.
- Hands-on coding skills and the curiosity to experiment with both data pipelines and model architecture.
- A maker mindset — you enjoy seeing your work run in the real world.
