Associate / Senior Consultant - Global Employer Services (Immigration) - Shanghai

About the Business

Our Global Employer Services (GES) in China is an integral part of the global GES network. Working across geographies internationally and nationally As One, we deliver comprehensive and bespoke service offerings to help our clients meet their global mobility, individual income tax, social security and immigration needs in a fast paced, constantly evolving and increasingly complex regulatory environment.

Work you'll do

• Applies detailed understanding of key Immigration concepts, ruling and regulations to all deliverables
• Assists in the drive towards automation and efficiency and embraces technological progress
• Provide clients with a broad scope of service needs, including coordination and preparing of all types of visa applications, research, strategic planning and direct liaison with assignee and the Immigration authorities
• Recognizes the key capabilities required to deliver a high quality service experience to the client 
• Applies technology knowledge to address client business challenges
• Effectively applies understanding of fundamental Mobility Compensation concepts and compliance rules and commonly applied payroll processes and concepts to all deliverables 
• Solicits and coordinates client input to determine direction

We are looking for someone with

• Degree holder preferably in Human Resources Management or equivalent 
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Self-motivated, mature, a strong sense of responsibility with positive working attitude and able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Good team player with good  strong interpersonal skills and excellent organizational skills; self-initiated and result-oriented
• Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese or Putonghua); other languages will be an advantage
