AI Scientist / Engineer – Agentic AI & Modeling/Simulation

Lead the development and integration of Agentic AI to accelerate product development through advanced Modeling & Simulation. Build AI systems and ML surrogate models that automate simulation workflows, generate large-scale synthetic data, deliver real-time predictions, and enable inverse design.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end automated Modeling & Simulation workflows using agentic AI
• Develop frameworks for synthetic dataset generation (parametric sweeps, DOE) and ML experimentation
• Build ML surrogate models for instant simulation predictions
• Develop inverse design solutions from customer specifications
• Reduce workflow time from days to minutes with ≥90% validated accuracy
• Present technical results to engineering and leadership teams

Requirements

• MUST HAVE strong foundation in physics-based Modeling & Simulation
• MUST HAVE expert-level CFD & FEM experience (Ansys, COMSOL, Abaqus, and/or OpenFOAM)
• MUST HAVE hands-on experience designing agentic AI or complex AI-driven workflows
• MUST HAVE experience developing ML surrogate models for simulation
• MUST HAVE proficiency in Python and/or C/C++ for simulation APIs
• MUST HAVE experience validating AI/ML results against experimental data
• Strong knowledge of ML techniques (regression, CNNs, GNNs)

Preferred: MS/PhD in relevant engineering or computational disciplines; experience in inverse design and multiphysics/multiphase systems.
