Customer Engagement
ACCOUNT MANAGER leads the development of wide and deep relationships top to bottom at the Site and broadly across all strategic functions at the Site with high focus on Operations, Reliability and Maintenance as well as authorizers and influencers such that these people feel privileged to meet with you and other Emerson employees. He/she is to build strong advocates in the customer organization who can be called upon to obtain an understanding of strategic imperative and challenges impacting the site.
Client Partner and Primary Demand Creation
ACCOUNT MANAGER to be the Client Partner to identify customer pains from customer daily operations, reliabilities, energymanagement, HSSE, equipment maintenance and so on, creating primary demand and work closely with the Delivery and Consulting Partners in Triad formation to solve customer’s business challenges with our Plantweb Solutions; driving Plantweb business growth at sites. Present Emerson Process as problem solver and customer partner.
Post Project Service/MRO
Identify and position STO (Shutdowns, Turnarounds, Outages) opportunity well in advance (at least 18 months) ahead of actual event. Leverage the full portfolio of Emerson Process Management to enable theCustomer to reduce unscheduled downtime, reduce maintenance cost, reduce working capital deployed in inventory and improve total plant reliability. At the same time, drive LTSA (Long Term Service Agreement )and Education growth.
Propel Internal Collaboration
Based on site engagement and deep understanding to the site, ACCOUNT MANAGER will uncover any potential opportunities for under-penetrated BUs; work collaboratively with BUs to dive white space opportunities or competitive displacement opportunities; improve BU collaborative synergy at site.
SSP (Strategic Site Plan)
ACCOUNT MANAGER is responsible and owns the creation, and on-going evergreen status of Critical Site Plan with clear set goals and targets. Drive Site business growth. SSP will be conducted in CRM.
Basic Qualifications
Degree or Diploma in an Engineering Discipline, Chemical Engineering or Automation Engineering is preferred.
Minimum 5 years’ experience preferably in the process industries with sound knowledge of related industry.
Experiences in sales/account management at least 5 years.
Good understanding of domestic business culture.
Strong communication, interpersonal and planning / priority management skills. Strong business acumen.
Mature personality and innovative.
